IDYLLIC LOCATION IN THE SPA TOWN OF BAD BRÜCKENAU
My Way Betty Ford Klinik is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the spa town of Bad Brückenau in the Bavarian part of the Rhoen Mountains. We chose Bad Brückenau as the location of our My Way Betty Ford Klinik not just because of its seven medicinal springs: The town is also surrounded by an intact natural environment. This has a positive effect on the well-being and health of our guests. Bad Brückenau provides ideal conditions for holistic preventive healthcare, healing and rehabilitation.
The town already became famous for its seven medicinal springs 250 years ago and was a favorite place of King Ludwig I of Bavaria. The spa town is conveniently located in the center of Germany, and can be easily reached due to its direct connection to the A7 motorway. Its fresh air and holistic health offers of traditional and contemporary medicine provide ideal conditions for your therapy at My Way Betty Ford Klinik. The town itself has numerous shops, coffeehouses, and restaurants, inviting you to take a leisurely stroll or do some shopping.
Since its foundation in 1747, the town has attracted a large number of guests, the most prominent of them being King Ludwig I of Bavaria. He didn’t hesitate and made Bad Brückenau his summer residence. Today, his residence is a Schlosshotel and, next to the Kursaal, the Wandelhalle and the medicinal waters Heilquellenausschank, it is one of the most visited places of interest of the town in the Sinn valley. The healing power of its seven springs, among them the King Ludwig I spring, the Georgi spring and the Wernarzer spring, have been used for 250 years already and made Bad Brückenau famous. Still today, the State Spa in the Bavarian region of Lower Franconia, enjoys excellent traffic connections and therefore attracts a large number of spa visitors and tourists. Particularly impressive and worth visiting is the historic spa garden which owes its beauty to King Ludwig I. During his numerous stays in Bad Brückenau, he kept transforming the spa town.
Framed by stately buildings of King Ludwig and the prince-abbots of Fulda, a beautiful park invites visitors to stroll, linger and relax. Discover the surrounding nature and enjoy the exceptional quality of air while hiking, riding a bike or doing Nordic Walking. No less than twelve circular, marked hiking trails take you through and around the spa town. There is also ample opportunity to go for a walk or do some shopping. The pedestrian zone with its shops, coffeshops and restaurants is looking forward to welcoming you.
